(Ok now it's 2 days ago.)
Most of the nurses have said that he needs to be off the vent before we hold him, but our nurse today came up to us and said "Do you want to hold him today? He's been really stable for the past 2 days." I said "Of Course!"
Inside I was terrified! I didn't want something bad to happen while they took him out or while he was with me, but I also know that skin to skin contact is great for the baby.
It took 3 people to get him out safely and his heart rate and Oxygen Saturation did both drop for a minute or two, but as soon as he was comfortable he got back to all of his baseline rates and stayed there for the rest of our mommy and me time. : )
We stayed just like this for about an hour.
And we got some great pictures! (Some of you might be seeing me for the first time!)

What a beautiful photo! Radiance ;D He looks very, very comfortable!! Thank you for sharing!
